1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Talyu app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. The "Story Dust" Virtual Currency
- Credits: Talyu uses a virtual credit system called "Story Dust" to generate content. 1 Story typically consumes 100 Dust.
- Purchases: "Story Dust" can be purchased via One-Time Packs or Subscriptions.
- No Real Value: Story Dust has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other users.
- Expiration: Story Dust purchased via one-time packs does not expire. Unused Story Dust from monthly subscriptions does not roll over to the next month.
- Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and are subject to their refund policies. We cannot issue direct refunds.
3. Voice Cloning Rules & Ethics
- Consent: You may only clone your own voice or the voice of someone who has given you explicit legal consent.
- Prohibited Voices: You are strictly prohibited from cloning the voices of:
- Celebrities, politicians, or public figures.
- Individuals without their knowledge or consent.
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your original voice recordings. You grant Talyu a license to use this data solely to generate audio content for you.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to generate stories or audio that are:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive.
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate for children.
- Discriminatory or hateful.
We reserve the right to ban any user found generating such content without refund.
5. AI Disclaimer
Talyu uses Artificial Intelligence to generate text and audio.
- Accuracy: AI can make mistakes ("hallucinations"). Stories may contain fictional or non-factual elements.
- Appropriateness: While we use safety filters, we cannot guarantee 100% of generated content will be perfect. Parents should always review content.
6. Limitation of Liability
Talyu is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or service interruptions.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
